From the past few years, people are much aware about special days like Mother’s day, Father’s Day, Friendship Day etc. However, it’s really exceptional days celebrated all over the world to show one’s love towards these relations. But mother and father is not a relation they are actually a lifeline, heartbeat or you can say you can’t expect your life without them. There is no single day without parents. So, here question arises in my mind that “do we need to celebrate Mother’s Day?”.

If I will continue this list of quotes on mother it will never get completed as she is incomparable and most precious gift of God given to all of us. No love & care is as pure and true as mother’s love. She do lots of adjustments and sacrifices to make us happy and brighten our life. She forgets her liking, dreams, career, and many more things while bringing up the child. It’s not wrong to say that she completely forgets herself for the sake of her children. So, asking that “do we really need to celebrate Mother’s Day? Is quite silly question.

According to me, Mother and father both are the example of presence of God on Earth. So, do you remember God on any special day??? I think most of the people will answer “NO”. It is possible that you worship God on special day but presence is always there in your mind and so are the parents. As I think every day is Mother’s Day or Father’s Day because you can’t be able to see a single day of your life if your parents won’t have bring you in this world. So, be thankful and show gratitude to your parents everyday not only this special day. 

There is nothing wrong in Mother’s Day celebration. It’s very good to show affection and respect to your mother and make her feel special on Mother’s Day. But the question is “Do we just celebrate it or really mean it? It’s very miserable that in today’s scenario many of the children are just doing it in fashion. They are just celebrating this day to update their social status. Are you also one of those individuals? If yes, then it’s really sad and hopeless.

Mother’s Day celebration is really about honouring motherhood, mother’s love and sacrifices towards her children. It is celebrated in different countries all across the world and have now joined the Indian culture as well. In western countries Mother’s Day is actually a holiday when children meet their parents and spend some time with them. Instead of celebration it is much more commercialization where merchants finds a way to make a profitable business in the name of gifts, presents, travel bills and many more. I know many of you disagree with this fact but it is bitter truth of the society which are prevailing these days. As per my thought, in our culture we don’t need any holiday or special day to express our love and gratitude to our mother. We can do it every day everytime. Isn’t it true? 

How to Celebrate Mother's Day

You should celebrate this day in a special manner like give some break to your mother from her daily routine work, make special meal for her, pamper her lot, spend quality time with her and do as much silly talks to make her laugh and feel relax. Try to make some time for her always and make an effort to fulfill all her dreams which she were dreamt of. Always stay connected even if you are far from her. Never make her feel lonely. Parents never left your hand when you were growing so don't ever left their hand when they are getting old. Don’t do it only on mother’s day or any other special day but for always. If you are successful in achieving this then you have celebrated Mother’s Day in real manner.
