Exceptional Assamese Couple Wedding Breaks Stereotype for offering Service to Mankind



In Indian tradition, wedding ceremony means a grand party with lots of celebrations and huge expenses. But, recently an Assamese couple have break this stereotype and completed their wedding in a very unique way. Bhupen Rabha and Bobeeta Boro tied their knot on 30th Jan 2019 in such an extraordinary way that it remains in your heart forever. They have done something fruitful and offered great message to society. Let us know what is really unique in their marriage. 

According to News18 report, this couple have hosted their wedding reception in an amazing and unique way in Baksa district of Assam. They have asked their guests that if they really wants to gift them something then please come with old clothes, books, stationary items, and other things which they can contribute to society. Not only this, this beautiful couple has also given return gift as saplings to the guests to promote greenery. 

Bhupen Rabha who is professor at Govt College in Assam finds his wedding as an opportunity to do something good for the society. Even he has put a message “Service to Mankind” on his invitation card so as to spread message to the society and bring awareness among people. All guests came with old clothes, household goods, old books, stationary items and other things which they can give to needy ones. The couple offered saplings of different species as returned gift to every guests who contributed in this move. Their effort to mankind is really appreciable.
